Teaching Campus Program, another Empowerment for Better Education from UNUSA

Surabaya – 25 students from Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (UNUSA) received full-funded scholarship, Education Fund Management Institute (LPDP) from the Directorate General of Higher Education (Ditjen Dikti), Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) to execute Teaching Campus Program.

The representative of this program, Sony Wahyu Alfaryansyah, explained his team progress, in this case, he wishes that 25 students from PGSD UNUSA will provide better solution for student-learning. The schools in three cities were chosen as a target, such as Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Gresik.

“Our teams is choosing any school from those regions because of their places are close enough to, then, it will be more efficient. Also we prefer the elementary school which have C until B for accreditation,”said Sony on Thursday (15/10).

This program was attended by 2500 selected students throughout Indonesia, with the implementation for 2.5 months. Sony wishes this program can facilitates the students to have better education. “Alhamdulillah, that’s an honor for us to have this responsibility.” he said.
