Malaysia- On February 21st, 2025, the second day of THE ASEAN STUDENT MOBILITY PROGRAMME hosted by Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) features two main events: a workshop on preparing for the Future Innovations Initiator Competition and a lively cultural night.
One of the participants, Alexandra Giovinna Acnellita from Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya joins an engaging workshop where participants from various ASEAN countries collaborate to discuss ideas and plan their projects for the upcoming competition. “It is exciting to exchange ideas with fellow students from different backgrounds and brainstorm creative solutions together,” said Alexa.
The workshop also involves preparing video content for the competition, allowing students to showcase their innovative thinking and teamwork.
In the evening, participants gathere in a grand hall dressed in their traditional attire, proudly representing the rich cultures of their home countries. The cultural night is filled with joy and togetherness as everyone enjoy a variety of traditional dishes thoughtfully prepared by the UPSI committee.
The night is made even more memorable with dancing and singing performances that brought participants closer together. “Sharing our cultures through food, dance, and music create such a warm and unforgettable atmosphere,” Alexa expresses.

The second day of the program not only fostere creativity and collaboration but also celebrate the beauty of cultural diversity, leaving participants with meaningful experiences and cherished memories. (nrl/genus)
