Two Researchers from India Visits Unusa to Have Research Collaboration

Surabaya – Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (Unusa) has the honor of welcoming esteemed visiting researchers, Dr. Rajeev Pratap Singh from the Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development, Banaras Hindu University, India, and Dr. Pooja Singh, Assistant Professor from the Institute of Computer Science & Technology, SHEPA Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Their five-day visit aims to foster academic exchanges and explore potential research collaborations.

The program commenced with a formal reception on 4 November 2024, held in the Rector’s Meeting Room. The event begins with a discussion session led by Achmad Syafiuddin, S.Si., M.Phil., Ph.D., Head of the Research Institute and Community Services at Unusa. The session provides a platform for an engaging exchange of ideas and research interests between two intitutions.

In his welcoming remarks, Prof. Dr. Ir. Achmad Jazidie, Rector of Unusa, expresses his gratitude for the visit and highlights the significance of this international academic engagement. “We are delighted to host Dr. Rajeev Pratap Singh and Dr. Pooja Singh. Their expertise brings valuable insights, and we are excited about the potential collaborations that can be implemented to advance research and knowledge sharing,” said Prof. Achmad Jazidie.

The visit will continue over the next few days with various academic activities and discussions aims at strengthening institutional ties and exploring joint research opportunities in the fields of environment, sustainable development, and computer science. (nrl/genus)
