Surabaya – Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Student Association (HIMA) of the Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (UNUSA) held a social service by distributing 100 Covid kits in three cities such as Surabaya, Gresik, and Sidoarjo.
The Chief Executive, Nur Muhammad Nuzulul Syufi explained that the Corona kits distribution was carried out to prevent the transmission of corona virus which has spread very rapidly nowadays. He wished that by distributing this Corona kits, general public would be more care to maintaining their health, particularly by using masks and wash their hands more frequently.
“It is our concern for making general public to have less contact with corona virus. Why are we consider to distribute the Corona kits in those three cities because of many casualties have been affected by,”explained by Mr Syufi, on Thursday (20/8).
Mr Syufi uttered his vision and mission if this program goes well, his teams would giving excellent impact for providing health and safety education to the general public surrounding.
The Corona Kits consists of three masks and one hand sanitizer. It has been implemented by Occupational Health and Safety UNUSA students simultaneously.
“We also put up 5S warning posters such as please always use your mask, wash your hands using soap and clean water, use your hand sanitizer, and always keep social and physical distancing and avoid any contact with other people ,” Mr Syufi continued his utterance.
Mr Syufi revealed his teams consideration to encourage the general public to be more aware of their health condition. “So, the impact that rapidly spread corona virus in Surabaya, Gresik and Sidoarjo will be lessen,” he closed his conversation with powerful expectation.
