Surabaya – The East Java Office of Cooperatives and SMEs and the Unusa OPOP Training Center held a coordination meeting with several SOEs. The goal is to find a capital solution for students who will start doing business through the OPOP program (one pesantren one product).
“Thank God, we have held a coordination meeting with friends of SOEs for the success of the OPOP program. Later the santripreneur will definitely need capital. so, we are trying to find the possibility of cooperation with BUMN friends. Is there an opportunity for SOEs to channel capital for students who will start their business through the santripreneursip path, ” Unusa Rector Prof. Dr. Ir Achmad Jazidie MEng said, after holding a coordination meeting, in the rector’s room, Unusa Tower, Campus B, Thursday (12/26) ).
The coordination meeting titled ‘OPOP East Java, Coordination Meeting and Synergy of the Empowerment Program for Cooperatives and MSMEs in East Java Province’ was attended by representatives of SOEs in East Java. Among those present were from Semen Indonesia, Sucofindo, Pertamina MOR V, BNI, Bank Jatim, SIER, East Java Jamkrida, Jasa Marga, PTPN XII, Askrindo, Petro Kimia, and BPR East Java.
According to Pof Jazidie, at the meeting the representatives of SOEs delivered three OPOP pillars, namely santripreneur, pesantrenpreneur and sociopreneur. The goal is that SOEs recognize the three pillars and understand their opportunities to channel capital assistance.
“For example there is an opportunity for SOEs to channel aid through their respective Community Development programs. The aim is to conduct training for students and pesantren who are members of OPOP, which will be carried out by Unusa as OPOP’s training center, ” Unusa Rectorsaid.
according to Prof. Jazidie, one of the most important things from the meeting was the need to know the rules of SOEs so that later on capital distribution could be as expected.
“I think specifically we need to recognize the rules of BUMN, because they are under the Ministry of BUMN which has its own regulations. Of course, so that we run OPOP not to bump into existing rules, “he stressed.
While Unusa’s OPOP Training Center Director M Ghofirin MPd said that the OPOP meeting with BUMNs facilitated by the Dinkop and East Java SMEs was to synergize the OPOP program with BUMN programs.
“It is hoped that SOEs can actively participate in promoting and empowering pesantren, so that what OPOP has done under the guidance of the East Java Governor is increasingly accelerating and is faster in fulfilling its targets with the full support of SOEs,” he said.
