DIPLOMA-III MIDWIFERY STUDY PROGRAM

 The Diploma Three (D-III) Midwifery Study Program of the Nursing and Midwifery Faculty of the University of Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya is an educational institution for health workers, under the auspices of the Surabaya Islamic Hospital Foundation which also has 2 hospitals. D Study Program III This midwife is a conversion from the RSI Midwifery Academy in Surabaya, which was established in 1998 Operational / Extension License Number: 265 / E / O / 2013 in July 2013, valid for up to 5 years. Diploma Three (D-III) Midwifery Study Program, Faculty of Health, Nahdlatul Ulama University, Surabaya has accredited BAN-PT with the “B” strata in accordance with SK: 004 / BAN-PT / Ak-XI / Dpl-III / VII / 2011 Validity Period : 5 years. Currently waiting for the Accreditation results from LAMPTKes.

Level of Midwifery Diploma Study Program (D-III) Midwifery is taken a minimum of 6 (six) semesters and a maximum of 8 (eight) semesters. The implementation of learning refers to the KBK curriculum in 2012 which has been adapted to the vision and competencies of graduates, with a study load of 120 credits including a core curriculum of 94 credits, institutional curriculum l8 credits, compulsory elective courses 4 credits and free choice courses 4 credits. In 2016 the Study Program developed the Curriculum in accordance with KKNI and based on Learning Achievements according to SNPT 2014.

In an effort to achieve student competency, clinical learning and practice using the SCL method with competent lecturers in their fields and in collaboration with leading practice areas in Surabaya such as Dr. Sutomo General Hospital, Dr.AL Ramelan, RSI Surabaya, RSI Surabaya, Jemursari Hospital, Haji Hospital, and Private Hospital , Puskesmas, Clinic, RB and BPM in Surabaya.

D-III Midwifery Study Program, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery UNUSA has become an educational institution that produces superior, professional midwifery Diploma III graduates with Islamic identity.

1. Carrying out student oriented midwifery education with an emphasis on solving problems comprehensively and openly by applying knowledge in accordance with the development of science and technology, Islamic law and the latest needs / care in the field of midwifery

2. Conduct Midwifery research to improve the quality of services and knowledge in the field of Midwifery

3. Implement community service by implementing evidence based Midwifery science to improve community welfare

4. Actualizing Islamic values in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education activities
