S1 Primary Teacher Education

Education is a fundamental factor in shaping the character of the nation. Teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing, and developing students in early childhood education in formal education, basic education, and secondary education. UU no. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers in article 8 requires teachers to have academic qualifications, competencies, educator certificates, physically and mentally healthy, and have the ability to realize national education goals. This supports the mandate of the 1945 Constitution, namely the intellectual life of the nation. Article 9 explains that the qualifications of elementary school teachers are Diploma IV (D4) graduates or Bachelor (S1) graduates. Therefore, the UNUSA PGSD S1 study program offers education to produce prospective educators who are creative, innovative, professional and with Islamic character.

Therefore, the UNUSA PGPAUD S1 study program offers education to produce prospective educators who are creative, innovative, professional and have Islamic character.

S1 English Teacher Education

One of the study programs under the auspices of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Nahdlatul Ulama University, Surabaya is the S1 English Education Study Program (PBI). PBI Unusa’s S1 Study Program has received an operating permit from DIKTI since 2013 based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 265/E/O/2013 dated July 2, 2013 along with the change of STIKES YARSIS to Nahdlatul Ulama University Surabaya (Unusa) but this study program has been operational since 2016

Elementary School Teacher Professional Education

The Teacher Professional Education study program in the field of Elementary School Teacher Education was proposed by Nahdlatul Ulama University Surabaya (Unusa) which already has a permit to change the form of the Yarsis Health Science College organized by the Surabaya Islamic Hospital Foundation in Surabaya City to become Nahdlatul Ulama University Surabaya with SK MENDIKBUD NO . 265/E/O/2013 Regarding Changes in the form of the Yarsi College of Health Sciences organized by the Surabaya Islamic Hospital Foundation, Surabaya city, East Java province, organized by the Surabaya Islamic Hospital Foundation in the city of Surabaya, East Java province. The accreditation status and accredited ranking of the University of Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education is accredited B with a score of 327 in accordance with SK number 2740/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/PT/VIII/2017.
